I am studying on thermal stresses analysis, however I have a problem here and need helps.
As an example, I am performing transient 2D thermal stresses analysis with boundary condition as a function of time by using ANSYS academic. This analysis is easy to be performed by direct couple field or choosing element type plane 223. However, Since I want to perform plastic deformation problem, where plane 223 can not be employed, I have to do transfer-load method where thermal analysis separated from structur analysis. For steady state it is easy to input the thermal result to the structural analysis. My problem is for the transient one.
How to do the coupling for the transsient problem?
